Silhouette Cameo Paper Haunted Village

I love my Silhouette Cameo and I know I don’t use it as much as I could. The things it can create are endless! Like… Making little paper haunted villages!

Aren’t they so cute?

These are the patterns I used from Ahsbee Designs.

  • Fire House – The house with skulls.
  • Train Station – The black polka dot house with the gold skull roof.
  • Store 2 and Park Bench – The purple house.
  • Ledge Village Group 2 Haunted Village – The spooky tree and fence

She called for using glue dots, but I used Scotch quick drying tacky glue. You don’t need much of it and it really does stick within a minute or two. I just find glue dots hard to work with but it could be because I’m using the permanent ones. Maybe if I tried the glue dots that were moveable, it would work better.

The papers I used to create the houses are:

Graphic 45 – Rare Oddities Collection – 8 x 8 Paper Pad – $10.99

I also used the Recollections Black and Gold Halloween 12×12 paper stack. I got it from Michaels, but for the life of me, I can’t find a link to it! I hope y’all can find it if you want to use it, but there’s lots of awesome paper stacks that can be used besides that one.

In the details I framed the doors and windows with gold and teal embossing powders, and the windows are backed with orange and purple tissue paper. I also rubbed Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo on the edges. The signs are from the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities paper.

The little skull on the top of store 2 is from Tim Holtz Crossbone Adornment Set and the skull, spider and ghost statue in the door are from a collage sheet I bought from a neat little site called Alpha Stamps.

So here’s some closeups of my little houses.

Don’t you love that adorable park bench?

I don’t know about you, but I would be a bit freaked if a statue of a skull answered the door, I’m just saying…

I love this 3D spooky tree with the bat in it.

I feel so behind on my Halloween decor this year, so don’t be surprised if you see another Halloween post pop up, okay?

What do y’all think of my little haunted village? Have a Halloween project you want to share? Leave me a comment or a question, I would love to hear from you!

Thanks!
Amgie
