Peacock Inspired Decor

 I visited my parents in Mississippi recently, and stepping back into their house after a year of absence is always a pleasant surprise because the decor is always changing. My mom has some kick butt decorating skills and her latest focus is the peacock.

 These first two photos are of her den, aren’t the gorgeous? And where did she get that awesome tablecloth?

 I love the color scheme she chose. The paint colors on the walls in these first two photos are Teal Bayou from Porter paints and Behr’s Spicy Cayenne.

These next two photos are in the living room. Her choice of fabrics and textiles add to the exotic atmosphere. The wall paint colors in this room are Mustard Seed and Bold Sangria from Glidden.

 And of course, the peacock herself. These were only a few examples, but they were my favorites. Now if I could only get mom to come over and bring me that painting…
